Mico v2.0.3: Image Answers for Discord Applications, Scored by AI
Mico v2.0.3 lets applicants answer your Discord application questions with images, and the AI looks at them when it scores. Plus roles while they wait.
Dani2 min read
Mico v2.0.3 is live. Your Discord application bot can now take images as answers and look at them when it scores, applicants can hold a role while they wait for a decision, and a batch of fixes makes the AI score show up everywhere it should. Here is what changed since Mico 2.0.
Image answers on your application questions
Some questions are easier to answer with a picture than with a paragraph. A question can now take images instead of text, or text and images together.
- In the panel editor on the dashboard, open a question and set Answer to Text, Images, or Text and images.
- Image answers are part of Premium and Pro. The plans are on the pricing page.
The AI looks at the images when it scores
With AI scoring on, Mico looks at the images in an application when it scores it, alongside the written answers. An image answer counts toward the score instead of being skipped, so reviewers get a score that reflects the whole application.
Images stay private and are deleted after 30 days
Images sent with an application are private. Mico deletes them 30 days after the application is decided.
Roles while an application waits
You can now give a role, or take one away, while someone's application is waiting for a decision. Use it to mark applicants, or to change what they can see until your team decides.
When the application is accepted, denied or withdrawn, Mico removes the waiting role by itself, so nobody is left with an "applicant" role weeks later. Set it in the panel editor under While waiting for a decision.
A steadier Mico
- The AI score now always shows in Discord. Before, it sometimes appeared only on the dashboard.
- The staff thread now opens for applications the AI has scored too.
- The AI no longer skips the expected answer notes you write on your questions.
- The server list on the dashboard loads faster.
- Picking the same role twice now shows a clear error with the role's name, not a number.
- Plus a batch of smaller bug fixes that make Mico more stable.
Update now
There is nothing to install: the update is already live in every server. Image answers and waiting roles are in the panel editor on the dashboard, and the setup guide covers everything else.
